My professional stages
As a UX Designer and Researcher I have conducted qualitative user research and user tests in German, English and French, assessing usability problems and UX, enabling clients to improve their user experience, increasing user satisfaction and software adoption.
As a coach I have supported nearly 50 founders to work user centeredly and design their business around actual user problems through workshops and coaching sessions on Design Thinking, Social Entrepreneurship, Business Model Innovation, Lean Startup, Team Dynamics, Pitching, etc.
Training addressing specific support for female entrepreneurs, including self presentation, money mindset and migrant entrepreneurship. Certification currently in progress.
Project-based 5 month full-time training and certification covering topics such as design principles, User Experience and User Interface Design processes, mobile app design for iOS and Android, responsive web design, branding and animation.
I conceived and facilitated workshops and coaching sessions for nearly 40 social startups and 80 innovators from NGOs and public institutions, contributing to a more sustainable economy and innovative social work.
I designed and organized an educational program for startup consultants, conducted user research, co-creation sessions and created content for a platform for social-innovative procurement, organized a social startup pitch competition and incubation/acceleration programs with over 100 participants.
Project-based part-time training by HPI School of Design Thinking with the topic "Resilient organisation in public administration" - development of a knowledge exchange platform to strengthen the inter-departmental collaboration and quality of work in the Brandenburg Ministry of Economics, Work & Energy.
A specialization of psychology, the master's included courses on a broad range of HMI topics such as UUX Engineering, Cognitive Ergonomics, Automation psychology, Interaction in VR, Statistics, Aviation psychology, Human-Robot-Interaction, Sustainability and Ethics, etc. I wrote my master's thesis on the topic of Dark Patterns in Social Networks: The role of UX design in problematic smartphone use.
As part of the team "Innovation Ecosystem Strategies", I contributed to research on topics such as innovation for development, transfer of research and academic knowledge, mission oriented innovation ecosystems and social innovation.
I conducted literature research, benchmarking, trend analysis, expert interviews and internal workshops, and processed information to feature in reports and scientific publications. I co-created and piloted the Pro-Poor Digitalisation Canvas, a tool to analyze the effects of digital innovation on poverty and inequality.
Project-based part-time training by HPI School of Design Thinking, to develop basic understanding of Design Thinking mindsets and tools. O worked on a project for ROX Health (Roche) to develop concepts for (digital) tools for Alzheimer prevention.
As a part of the Human-Machine-Interaction team, I conducted user tests on innovative automotive products, improving usability and user experience while also ensuring driver safety and security.
I collected and evaluated qualitative and quantitative data in driving simulator studies (interview results, behavioral data, eyetracking, video data) and performed literature research on topics of automation psychology and human-centered development of in-car input systems.
The project aiming at improving UUX knowledge transfer between academia and mid-sized companies, I contributed to preparing coaching materials, usability test guidelines, toolkits and wrote blog posts on usability and user experience, agile work and change management.
For a client from the automotive industry, I prepared and co-facilitated workshops for conflict management and to foster collaboration on the inter-division level. I worked on concepts for workshop digitization and conducted desk research on digitization and change management.
